A broken washing machine quickly turns into a pile of laundry and a flooded bathroom floor. Most faults we see in UAE homes come from a few causes: blocked drain pumps full of coins, hairpins and lint; door seals damaged by mould; worn drum bearings; and heating elements coated in limescale from mineral-rich water.
Our technician checks the machine at your home, reads any error code, tests the pump, motor, heater and control board, and tells you the exact cost before starting. We repair automatic and semi-automatic machines, front-load and top-load, and combined washer-dryers from every major brand.
Common washing machine problems we fix
Not draining / water stays in the drum
A blocked filter or drain pump, a kinked hose or a failed pump motor. Often fixed in under an hour.
Not spinning
An unbalanced load, worn carbon brushes, a broken drive belt, a faulty motor or a door-lock problem that stops the spin cycle.
Leaking water
A torn door gasket, loose hoses, a cracked detergent drawer or a damaged tub seal. We find the source and replace the part.
Loud banging during spin
Worn drum bearings, broken suspension springs or shock absorbers, or a foreign object between the drum and tub.
Door will not open or lock
A faulty door lock or interlock, a broken handle, or water still in the drum. We release the door safely and fix the lock.
Not filling with water
A blocked inlet filter, a faulty inlet valve, low water pressure or a failed pressure sensor.
Water not heating
A heating element covered in limescale, or a failed temperature sensor. Clothes come out poorly washed.
Machine will not turn on
A power supply issue, a blown fuse on the control board or a failed main PCB.
Error codes such as 4C, 5E, OE, IE, UE or E18
Each code points to a system (water supply, drain, balance, door). We read the code and test the related part.
Bad smell or mould
Detergent build-up and mould in the gasket, drawer and drum. We clean, descale and advise on settings to prevent it.

Washing machine care tips from our technicians
- Clean the drain pump filter (small door at the bottom front) once a month and empty pockets before washing.
- Leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open after each wash to stop mould and smells.
- Use the right amount of detergent; too much causes foam, residue and smells.
- Run an empty hot wash with a descaler every 1–2 months to protect the heater from limescale.
- Do not overload the drum: heavy, uneven loads damage bearings and suspension.

Washing Machine Repair: frequently asked questions
Is it worth repairing my washing machine?
Usually yes. Pumps, door seals, belts, brushes and door locks are inexpensive repairs. If the drum bearings or main board fail on a very old machine, we will tell you honestly if replacement makes more sense.
Can you repair washer-dryer combos?
Yes. We repair both the washing and drying functions, including heaters, condensers, fans and sensors.
My machine shows an error code. What does it mean?
Codes differ by brand. For example, many Samsung machines show 5E or 5C for drain problems and LG machines show OE. Send us the code and model on WhatsApp and we can usually tell you the likely fault before we arrive.
How long does a washing machine repair take?
Most repairs take 30–90 minutes on site. If a part has to be ordered, we confirm the price and return to fit it, usually within 1–2 days.
Do you fix semi-automatic machines too?
Yes, we repair semi-automatic twin-tub machines including wash timers, spin motors and drain valves.
