Your cooking range is used every day, so ignition problems, uneven flames and broken knobs quickly become frustrating. Many UAE homes use cylinder gas or central gas lines, and both need correctly adjusted burners, injectors and safety devices to work safely and efficiently.
We repair ignition systems, burners, thermocouples, gas valves and knobs on freestanding ranges and built-in hobs, as well as electric, ceramic and induction cooktops. Every gas repair finishes with a leak test.
Common cooking range problems we fix
Burner not igniting / no spark
A worn spark electrode, faulty ignition module, wet or dirty burner, or a failed switch.
Flame goes out when you release the knob
A faulty thermocouple or flame-failure device, the safety part that cuts gas when there is no flame.
Weak, uneven or yellow flame
Blocked burner ports or injectors, wrong pressure from the regulator, or burner caps not seated correctly.
Gas smell
A loose connection, worn hose or valve leak. Turn off the gas, open windows, avoid switches and call immediately.
Constant clicking
Moisture in the ignition system or a faulty switch. We dry and replace the affected parts.
Knobs broken or stiff
Worn knobs, valve spindles or gummed-up gas taps. We replace knobs and service the valves.
Induction or ceramic hob not heating
A failed power board, coil, sensor or touch control. Error codes help us find the fault.
Oven part of the range not working
A faulty igniter, thermocouple, thermostat or element in the oven compartment.
Cooker hood not extracting
Clogged grease filters, a failed motor or a faulty switch.

Cooking range care tips from our technicians
- Keep burners and caps dry and clean; spills block the burner ports and the igniter.
- Make sure burner caps sit flat; a tilted cap gives an uneven, yellow flame.
- Replace gas hoses and regulators every few years, or sooner if cracked.
- Clean cooker hood grease filters every month.
- If you smell gas: close the valve, open windows, do not use switches or phones near the area, and call for help. For a serious leak, call Civil Defence on 997.

Cooking Range Repair: frequently asked questions
Why will my gas burner not stay lit?
When the flame goes out as soon as you release the knob, the thermocouple or flame-failure device is usually faulty or dirty. It is a safety part, so it should be repaired, never bypassed.
Do you repair induction hobs?
Yes. We repair induction and ceramic hobs, including power boards, coils, fans and touch controls.
What should I do if I smell gas?
Close the gas valve, open windows and doors, do not switch lights on or off, and leave the area. Call your gas supplier or Civil Defence (997) for a serious leak, then call us to repair the cause.
Can you convert or install a cooking range?
Yes. We install freestanding cookers and built-in hobs and connect them to cylinder or central gas supplies with proper leak testing.
